This Page...

This page is designed to assist with the development of Performing Arts.

This site will delve into different practitioners, styles and techniques of acting/performing and reasons behind.
This information will assist in the development of your performance theory and will aid you dramatically should you wish to take the subject further and study at a higher level.

At higher level you will look into the theoretical aspects of performance style, this site gives you a taster of this difference in style, technique and delivery. It provides you with insight into why practitioners and performers delivered pieces the way they did, why some styles are still applied today, political and cultural effects or influences they may have had and how you can adapt them to deliver your personal interpretation.

You will find this page is dedicated into what each year group is studying, if this is incorrect then please email me and i will alter them.

If you are looking for a direct link to theatrical practitioners then click on the link in the left hand tool bar that reads 'APPLYING ACTING STYLES' this will then take you to a syllabus page; from this syllabus page you will see a toolbar along the side of the page with links to various practitioners!
