This information will assist in the development of your performance theory and will aid you dramatically should you wish to take the subject further and study at a higher level.
At higher level you will look into the theoretical aspects of performance style, this site gives you a taster of this difference in style, technique and delivery. It provides you with insight into why practitioners and performers delivered pieces the way they did, why some styles are still applied today, political and cultural effects or influences they may have had and how you can adapt them to deliver your personal interpretation.
